The park district has been part of the Skokie community for more than 80 years and dedicates itself to providing quality parks, recreational facilities, leisure services and social programs for families and people of all ages.

More than 90 percent of area residents surveyed responded that the park district improves the quality of their families’ lives. More than 50 percent of Skokie residents attend our special events or are enrolled in programs with registration fees. Our core areas of programming are athletics, fitness, cultural arts, historic, outdoor recreation, earth education and social life skills. All 25,000+ Skokie homes receive our ten seasonal and annual program guides.
